When we made the decision to work towards being digital nomads, we knew that would mean not having pets. We would give every ounce of our love to our kids in their final years and then not adopt any more. Today I am watching the clock as this evening we will lose one more.
A month or so ago I came across an ad on Facebook for a service called DogVacay.com. It's a website where dog parents can find dog sitters and in home boarding options. Since our dogs ("kids") are older, pretty mellow and very accepting of other dogs visiting our home, I decided this might be a fun way to help out people needing care for their dogs and also earn some extra money until we are ready to begin our adventures on the road.
